I am stumped, 100% flummoxed :(

I can't find a dark green (some call it bottle) gilet anywhere

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah :(

It keeps me awake at night, I troubles me during the day, I think I might even be coming out in a rash because I have to keep putting on my *whispers* navy blue gilet to ride in!!!!!!

I have exhausted my online shopping knowledge so I was hoping you guys could help?...

All a girl wants is a padded gilet with a collar in dark green, is it so much to ask?...

Can you find one?... matchless and miserable of Wiltshire :( :( :(

Brownie points and halo shining for anyone who finds the holy grail of matchy matchy items 'the illusive green gilet'

Disclaimer - attention all 'button pushers' this IS technically a CR post because every talented rider knows that skill and results are directly proportional to colour coordination so nurrrrr ;) * tongue firmly in cheek* :)

Used this company for club kit

They have a padded gilet in bottle green for only £19.65!!

Hope the link works... and you could always have it embroidered with GHE!

Hhhmmmmm I used to have one like that but I never really liked it (I tried to convince myself I did because it was green) so I ebayed it to a new home.....looking for something more fitted I think, but good effor MB take these 5 brownie points * * * * * :)

Ornella Prosperi do lovely fleece lined body warmers very good for riding in and they come in green! They also do green waterproofs coz it would be a shame for you not to colour coordinate in the rain!!!

Not cheap and arguably too nice to ride in! But its a lovely gilet!!!!!

Oh that is lovely!!! It's like Katie Price does tasteful colours with the crest on it and the gold zips!!!!! I am very tempted BUT the colour says 'Pine' now what does that reeeeealy mean?.... I think it looks maybe a little too green blue?.... Did I mention I was a fussy shopper? ;) I ihgt try to track it down in the flesh to check the colour in person! Maybe at that price tag I would feel bad about riding in it, I have on my travels found this which I LOVE but it would be too good to wear up the yard

Gorgeous and PERFECT colour :) - http://jackwills.com/Store/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductRef=005847&Option=005847640

It is definately green, as in Burghley Green, i tried it on and hung it back on the shelf as thought it was too nice to wear at £55....but......a while after burghley they may reduce it!

Have you tried all the Puffa ones, i picked up one the other day for £12 just off the sale rail, but great for mucking out/riding etc in!

Love that JW jacket....very smart, i'm thinking Kim Tate - Holme Farm, rather than Katie Price ;-p

Oh I do like the look of the waterproof jacket and best of all you can get it embroidered! but the gilet looks similar to the one MB suggested, I would ideally like something a bit more fitted and divided into sections like a Puffa

What is Burgley Green? where did all these new greens come from?... they confuse me!

I saw Puffa in perfect green colour on sale in my local Scatts all XXL though, for big fat farmers! ;) hahahah

Hhhhmmm team that JW coat with skinny jeans and brown Uggs and you have 'Chloe's Country Chic' :)

erm.....erm........just a dark green!!!! The hoody on the joules website may give you a better idea!!! I'm not really that up on my greens!!!

If you know the green you're after (puffa wise) it maybe worth ringing Retford Saddlery as they have some old ones on the sail rail and i'm sure would send one (in fact they have a website, although not that great!) http://www.retfordsaddlery.co.uk/

I think that coat is a must.....i normally justify things like that if i can wear them to work......then eventually it gets downgraded to a yard coat!

St Hippolyt (yes the food company!) have a small range of human clothing and horse accessories (halters/leadropes/coolers/saddlecloths etc) in exactly the green you want, however the only 'girly' item is a polo shirt! But worth knowing, you never know.

I'm a 10 and have got the blue JXXL and it fits perfectly & i can get my body protector underneath.

Bargin at under £20! You'll have to replace the kiddies patch with a GHE one!

You'll have to get some pictures when you get it.....all togged up!

;-)

I just happen to have a GHE patch on my navy blue one i can transfer so no worries there and I'm currently snooping on some breeches to match on ebay!!!!!!!!! Oh glorious day!!!! :) :) :)

LOL!! It should do then as i'm the same size and it fits pretty well, its so light, i hardly know i'm wearing it!!

That sounds about right.........there won't be anything that doesn't match soon!!!

Happy shopping!

The Joules one is deffo bottle green. You could try their outlet shops and ask for the Nimba in green from a couple of seasons ago. It's a thinner gilet though :)
