Mattes girth - so expensive!!

I want to try a Mattes Athletico because it's the only girth I can find designed for a 'backwards' girth groove. By the time I have the right length the girth is coming in at around £200, or £250ish for a leather version. This seems a tad on the expensive side.
Does anyone know of any way of cutting the cost of the girth e.g. ordering from somewhere on the continent rather than UK? Or suggest another brand with the same sort of shape?
Thanks!

Not much help - I found a hardly used one on Ebay last year - about £120 IIRC - and it's blooming brilliant on my herring-gutted TB. I have tried many many girths over the years - tbh one of the best was actually a John Whitaker leather girth, but the leather rubbed when he was clipped, and girth covers are a PITA
