Mattes poll pad/guard

Help, does anyone use a Mattes poll pad (fluff) I've just bought one as my mare is very sensitive behind her ears, and although she's better with the Micklem bridle thought I would try the poll guard fluff to see if it helps. I'm having some issues fitting it, the Velcro tabs come off and I guess this allows you to adjust but can someone show me a close up pic of the fitting of there's, mine seems too big, ive put it on her headcoller to try and flatten the fluff slightly!
Pictures would be great, hopefully I'm not being stupid!
