I park my lorry in a paving stone car park. Paving stones are over ground put down before I arrived. I have to reverse out up a slight hill, 90 degree turn and drive forward onto permanent hard core to get it out.

This winter some of mud came up through the paving stones and causes lorry to wheelspin reversing out of parking space up the slight hill. Plus there is a last bit of mainly grass as I complete turn.

(Short term I put waste hay over the mud for a bit of grip, but it is now rotting). I need to scrape the mud up, put something down to give better traction for next winter. Not looking to spend too much.

Bog standard grass mats might work, but they arent that long, and I think I would need 2-3 5.5 tonne lorry lengths worth.

Did wonder if I could cut them in half so are longer, but that might be hard work too. Think need 12 mats at least which is £288

Struggling to find anything made for the job that isnt super expensive.

Ideally only looking to spend a few hundred.

Ideas please.

I’ve got something like these.

They need to be laid when the ground is hard though. Mine are just on dirt, but you can put sand under them to level them out. Over time mine have sunken which is actually better as the grass has grown though them and they are solid.
