Mattingley Intro Report........

We are all saying she did super. Most of us could only dream of winning two events in a row

And you dont have to ever move up of you dont want to, you do have to be so careful with babies. I want to be PN Spider now all the time, but she just needs more confidence, so needs more Intro runs, but in the long run they will trust in you more and you will have a much better horse for it. But to collect ribbons along the way in her training makes it even better!!

Well technically she is still 5, she isnt 6 until june but she has to be 6 for BE

we are doing our 2nd round at Royal Leisure

was worried you all thought i shouldnt be introing

i cant tell you how nervous i was before the XC, she could have been so easily E'd at any point on the course, we just didnt know - today was a huge leaf turned over in the book of Hattie

i cant stress enough though that every event is a different kettle of fish with Hattie and she could easily take 4 steps back next weekend, we really dont know - she's still a bit of an unknown quantity

Yes doing Milton Keynes IRF - miles away from us but the only one which is even a bit close to us!!!!!

Anyway Borde hill is another event, another field, another weekend!!! Sooo excited about seeing Spider - fingers crossed the weather holds too

Spider will be the one tied to the lorry like she has been eventing for ten years!! Not phazed by anything!! But needs lots more XC confidence, she was taking me so much more on sat.

Think Borde Hill Intro is less tehnical then Mattingley intro I dont even think there is a double in it! It is sposed to be really nice all week I think hopefully be a nice sunny day sunday!!

hehee!! thanks!! me thinks Navigator needs to get down to the gym - half way round my legs just gave up and i was panting like i dont know what when we finished

when ive finished my GCSEs ive vowed to start running and getting fit again - i dont think its fair on Hattie to have to carry a great heavy gasping lump!!!!
