Livery turned up tonight with her mum's tiny little daschund!! Was quite sweet for a 'little' dog but she confused the hell out of Max!! He spent most of her visit superglued to her side while he tried to pick her up (think he thought she was a toy!

Sam was the same when we got Harley. Just followed him around & jumped out of hi skin when Harley squeaked or attempted his version of a bark

He kept prodding him with his nose & paw but then kept backing off & staring at him in a bemused fashion as he just didn't know what to make of him in the slightest

My OH has a German Pointer, and when she first met Tinkerdog (terrier) she kept swatting her with her paw until Tink went all bristly and growly.

She looked a bit put out that Tink wasn't there to play with

Slinky, my Lab is exactly the same with small puppies - she just can't seem to work out what they are: "It smells like a dog, it acts like a dog but..?!!)
