Max Spenger Snaffle

Hi I changed my horse to one of the above about 9 months ago, he was in a myler hanging snaffle. He seems to have become a bit blocky in the contact. He is rising 8 welsh section d, can a bit crafty about backing off the contact if he is not forward enough, (this is a work in progress!). Just would be interested in others experience of the bit, it was recommended by a bit consultant.

BB dressage legal max control plate, after lots of trials and error, I think she was relying on sprenger to help balance, old story of inadvertently training what you don't want to train!
