Anyone got one? Horesware and PE are susally my go to for rugs but, I need a cheap fly sheet pretty urgently and have just come across them. At only £44.99 they are already cheap but there is a coupon code for 40% off! makes them only £26.

Years ago I had a turnout and actually remeber being quite impressed with it so figure at the above price they are worth a try.
I *think the turnouts came up big as I remember and I'm not sure which size to go for as horse is a bit in between.

I was drawn in by the good deal but it has been a waste of £26 as it's totally unusable- cheap material, slips back and pulls really tight on the shoulders and the belly flap is too long so had to tie knots in all the straps and too wide so horse just ends up weeing on it so it now stinks and attracts a million flies.

Ohh thank you so much! I'm always wary of going too cheap and appriciate the warning!
I'll head back to HVS Horseware sale then!

Bought one for mine a couple of years ago, resembled a mini skirt and was so long in the back he looked like he had a cape on! If you are looking for cheap and cheerful but a good fit, the Gallop ones are very good. I have Rambo and Lemiuex on mine, but have cheap spares when they are in the wash and they do a good job.

I've bought a Shires, Cheap but usually pretty decent.

Embarrassed to admit I tried to put my retired horses usual fly rug on for the first time and he's too fat for the belly flap to do up! He has several but all with tummy coverage so I just wanted a cheap surcingles one until he looses a bit

Yes I buy the maxima its good but for my ID I switch to big horse but connie has maxima

I personally don't like horseware and def don't like PE so would not buy them

You can’t beat equilibrium IMO they are great quality and don’t make them hot. They are also the highest rated for UV protection.

My Shires waterproof fly rug has been amazing. In it's second year and no rips, fits perfectly. Think was under £50 from memory.

I have 2 fly sheets from Maxima and found that they fit my connie quite well. Did go up a size just because the 6ft didnt fit around the shoulders but overall I am pleased with mine for the price.

I had the same experience with the Maxima flyrug, although the turnout and stable rugs fitted brilliantly.

She's now in Big Horse Shop Epic for everything. She's not very tall, but there's a lot of her!

I’ve got a waterproof maxima fly rug and it’s really good! Fitted my TB very well but he was very fine x
