hi everyone,

I have a youngster who is ID/TB x warmblood- and think he may do well in hunter classes and was wondering if anyone had photos of thier hunters which I could look at?

I would post some pics of him on here if i knew how to get them of my camera and phone onto computer, however, there are pics f bailey in my album which are outdated now if you want to see him, but he has improved a lot since they were taken, ie;in pics he looks too close behind, he moves well and instructor says he has good confo- so am looking for examples of hunter 'type' please!

thankyou

see my sig :D
she's better at WH tbh - not quite quality enough for ridden - although we've won ridden too :)

oh and she's also a fab hunter - buckle of the rein all day :)

these are my 2 boys - both heavyweight show hunters - they're 17.2/17.3, with 10" bone and they hunt too :)

I'm having to sell both of them so am :( :( :(

Wow your grey is STUNNING!!!!! I'm looking for a new project but want a baby to bring on myself otherwise I'd be knocking on your door. So sorry you are having to let them go. :(

Ruddy nora spacefaer, your grey is a very fine example of a good hunter! I have been to plenty of shows this year, and watched alot of the hunter classes as my friend competed in them. Your grey (based upon the looks of him in that photo), would have wiped the floor in our area. Compared to him, the ones I have seen look like a bit dropped off! Do you successfully show him? He's a real credit to you, an absolute shame if you do sell him! xx

Thanks Rudey - we think he's nice! Whereabouts are you? I shall market him in your area!!! I was planning to do hwt workers with him as he's got SJAI points and is quite scopy lol!

We've managed to overhorse ourselves - got 8 in - and my new WP decided she didn't want to work with horses (!) so we've decided to cut down and sell 3 - these 2 and a smaller (16.3/17hh) hunter. Then I can do them properly myself without relying on anyone else :)

Hi Jen - back of Twigworth, just outside Gloucester - out with the Cotswold Vale last season - bit far from you :)

He's not expensive - PM me if you want more details - I'm not advertising - just showing off cos I think they're both gorgeous! :P

Oi - everyone, get off the grey, he is MINE :D He is absolutely gorgeous to ride as well, an absolute dream, if I wasnt so flipping broke I would have him like a shot :(:(:(:(

Must say the other boy is fabulous too, but I have only been allowed to sit on him once :D

well if everyone else wants the grey, i'd quite happily have the bay - he's stunning :) if only i had a home for such a big horse. i could have so much fun with another hunter as well (maybe if i win the lottery!)

Carey - you can ride the bay anytime! Want to jump him this weekend? Got some jumps in the field........ :P

Sorry OP - hijacked your post a bit - but these guys are genuine hunters as well as show horses - hope this helps your original question :)
