What is the difference between a mix and a cube?

as in Baileys no4 cubes and Bailys no 17 Mix? as i have read about them both an doesnt seem any difference?

None. I had training from D&H, Spillers etc. and they all said the same thing - that they're exactly the same except cubes are always cheaper. Basically the mix is just for the owners, apparently they think it looks yummier so often prefer to pay more for it than the same in cube form!

Some horses don't like cubes so have to have mixes instead. For other horses cubes are more suitable as they can be soaked and tend to be less heating.

Thanks guys

a mix is more starchy than a cube so can affect some horses by making them more exuberant!
