Are they worth the money?

I’m thinking of buying the Original version which is the cheaper ones but they’re still pretty expensive ? Before I take the plunge has anyone experience of these that they’re willing to share please.

Thank you

I have Mayo mats in my stables for the last 18 years, still in tip top condition. They are the cow mats though, I wasn't for paying through the nose for the horse version, and they have done their job wonderfully well. Horses never started mooing either....

? thank you Cortez. I’ll google and see what the difference is, but what’s the surface like on the cow mats? The stable mat is described as ‘orange peel’ which is ideal as I want as smooth a surface as possible.

I had some Mayo Eco cow mats. They were orange peel surface. Nice and light and easy to move. Never had any issues with them but didn’t have them as long as Cortez (sold them as moved to full livery)

Did they move around or stretch or curl up on the edges? I’ve wasted so much money on rubber matting over the years that I’m reluctant to spend so much if I’m going to have the same problems

Orange peel surface, stretched a little bit, but easy to trim with a stanley knife. I believe the only difference between the cow mat and the equine version (other than the price) is that the cow ones are a bit lighter (a win-win, IMO).

I would be interested to know if they are the same. I have the cow ones in one stable, not used that much as horse out in the day and has a yard as well as a stable to wander around at night and he is unshod, not a heavy or destructive horse. When cleaning them a year ago I noticed they were wearing thin and going into holes. They have just had their annual pressure wash and even more holes. I was thinking of replacing with the horse version as I wondered if they would be tougher.
Nothing like 18 years use.

They are nice as they are light to move.
