Hi, have seen a nice Equinox box- 24ft with good living and horse space that I am having inspected by my mechanic. Made my Ian McNeil- any opinions, good or bad welcome! Pm me if you prefer. Thanks in advance

I used to have a 6.5t McNeill box and it was really nicely built. A friend still has the one she bought from there. Must have had it about 12 years. Mine was an old J Reg Mercedes and I sold it about 4 years ago. There used to be a lot around. Peper Harow boxes are built by his son. On the whole I think they are a good quality build.

I had one and absolutely adored it. It was a 7.5t on a downrated HGV chassis so drove brilliantly.
I had a few issues with the design in the living and horse area but on the whole, loved it.
You need to make sure the chassis is good and well maintained (more important than any bling in the conversion)

I loved mine, it was Ian's hunting box so it was a good spec inside but without the bling outside. It was on a 2 year old chassis when I bought it, I had it for 16 years, and it is still going strong with its new owner. I did look after it though :)
