Hi
Does anybody know the difference between the two. My mare is "not right" at the moment, she won't work on the bridle without an arguement (usually lovely and soft) and keeps "leaving a leg behind" like she is slipping on the surface, she is generally not right if you know what I mean. Seems to have a clicking from her off side flank/stifle. She is usually a really well schooled willing ride.
Her saddle fits and her teeth have been done so it's either a McTimoney or a Physio - which would you recommend.

I use McTimoney for myself and my horse. It's really gentle and really effective. I have used Osteo's before and wouldn't again - it's far too violent! If I needed muscle treatment I'd use a sports massage person.

I have used a McTimoney before. The first one I had was wonderful and made a real difference to the horses but she has moved now. The one she recommended wasn't very good at all. I have also used a "Sports Massage" person who I wasnt too impressed with either. I sound like a right moaning Minnie - I'm not honest!!
I have had both a McTimoney and a Chiro recommended to me by people with horses that have had treatment but didnt know which to use.
After your replies I think I will go with the McTimoney and hopefully this new one will be as good as the last.
Thanks everybody for your help, much appreciated
