Me and Sol's 'intresting' trip to the beach

Took Sol to the beach for the second time in her life today as the fun ride I was supossed to be going to was cancelled

Was a lovely day , went with Clare and Baby Ro ( who is 6

)

Managed to get all of ten minutes down the dunes when Sol decieded a dog yapping / running towards us was very scary and dumped me in the sand

In the process she managed to kick me

So I have a very swollen leg and am very bruised

Got back on and had a lovely gallop along the beach and a canter over the sand dunes

Best of all , on the way back about 5 minutes from the trailer the path was flooded so we walked through it ( following a ride from the trekking centre )

They told us it was deep but safe so I managed to have my first swim on Sol

Even if it was only for two minutes

So all in all had a beautiful day !!

Lovely pics......very jealous of your ride.

I know exactly where that flooded bit is....think I ate sand there years ago on one particularly exciting ride riding for the owner of the trekking centre when he was a dealer!!!!

I said to Claire when we came down the hill to the start of the flood - '' I dont think we've come the right way , I dont remember there being a river''
