Me and the regionals are doomed I think!

We are off to the regionals at kingston maurwood this friday to do the novice and elementary music. Have just been phoned by the friend who was meant to be helping us to say she can't come. I asked her as soon as the dates came through and she agreed, so I toddled off and booked b&b etc for us. She was offered a new job about a month ago and when we discussed the regionals I didn't get the impression having the day off would be a problem. Now it appears that they want her to start on wednesday, so not able to take the friday off. She offered to drive down on the sat, but her boyf has hired a van to move some things that day (for which she really should be there). I'm philiosphical about the job bit, but irritated by the latter! Sorry, just felt better for ranting a bit! Sure I will cope with pony on my own, but since its about 4 hours away from us will be a bit lonely! Plus its not really ideal trying to do it all on your own! Heigh ho!
(Last year pony was on box rest with sore back for two weeks before regionals and we only got all clear to take him day before the regionals!)
 
Thank you! May well be taking you up on that!! I'm probably being a bit silly about it, but have spent all today loading the lorry and washing stuff and just felt a bit low!

Mind you, bless them, my parents volunteered to drive down from their farm in north yorkshire when I phoned them wailing a bit! They know nothing about horses but love Finns to bits!! Makes you realise how lovely family can be!
 
I am also doing the regionals at KM i hope!! I have qualified for the last three years and never managed to get there due to a lame horse. I am trying this year on a different horse! We have still got 4 days to go though and a lot can happen! If we just drive into the car park we will be cheering, never mind what a test he does!! I am doing the prelim on thurs but i am very lucky that it is only ten minutes up the road from me. Hope you sort out your helper and get on ok when you get there.
