I gave my Albion Legend saddle, with its cover, to Meadowlea Saddlery to sell on commission 18 months ago. The saddle was in perfect condition, and I asked for the cover to be kept on it.
As it had not sold I decided to have it back and sell it myself.
When I collected it, the saddle was very dirty, stained and faded, with scratches on the Pommel and Cantle. The cover was also missing. It was so bad that I thought it was not my saddle.
I spoke to the owner, Jill, who was extremely rude, refused to discuss it, and put the phone down on me.
So beware, anybody who is thinking of letting Meadowlea Saddlery sell their saddle for them.
