Measuring heads?

Human heads that is. I have a hat to put on ebay - not a riding hat, a leath bushman's hat - and it doesn't say what size it is. How do I measure it please? Thankies all!

does it fit you? You could say..this fits me and I am a xx in a riding hat which might be more accurate than trying to measure around the inside of the hat

Round the inside of the crown, ie where it's going to sit across the forehead.

What's happening on Monday? I've not heard! I have the farrier coming just before 9.30, then an appointment which I cannot miss at 10.20 in St.A, then I have to go to the dentist at 3.15 (though Mum thinks it's 2.15) as I have filling that tried to come out yesterday. Dentist is in Fowey!
