Hi all

I few years ago I had lessons with Michelle Cogger near Stanstead and would like to start up with some sessions again.

I no longer have her details, though have tried the details on BD website. But does anyone know of any other venues for lessons on mechanical horses?

I am based near Waltham Abbey, Essex.

I have seen online of Ashden EC, so will try for there but can anyone advise of others?

Or advise where Michelle is now based?

Many thanks in advance!

Hi,

It may be a bit of a pig to get to but I've just had a couple of lessons on the Simulator at Wimbledon Village stables. I've found it extremely helpful as I've just returned to riding after 7 years out.

It's only a short walk/bus ride from Wimbledon station.

Best of luck.

Doesn't Mary Wanless, 'Ride with your mind' have one. I think she is around me somewhere, the Essex/Herts borders, might be worth a google.

ive tried the mechanical horse at ashen and becky chapman is good with helping get position right, i went because id had a hip op and felt i was crooked so wanted to get sorted out before getting on my horse,,,,it really helped me but its not cheap....michelle cogger is now married and i think is in sussex but not sure if she still comes to essex ...her contact details are on bd in her married name, i think it is hill.....

They have one at Wildwood stables in Tadworth too. Not been on it.

Yes,his name is Trojan and he has a nice heated shed /stable . A very useful creature regardless of your ability. Beginers have a sit on him to get the basic idea before bumping up and down on some poor pony .Advanced riders use him to detect those bad positional habits we all have. He lives at wildwoods which is in walton on the hill and very close to junction 8 on the M25
