Hi does any one have any experience of MCL in the hock getting damaged. My horse was found down in the field Monday, had a very swollen hock when we got her up and would not weight bare. The swelling went down a little but not enough to be happy with so went to the vets Friday. Their diagnosed was MCL sprain/inflammation but unsure of the damage as hock was still swollen . We have been advise 6 weeks box rest then go back. As anyone else experienced this? What was the outcome? What was your rehab? Thanks
