My hunter has a suspensory ligament injury and I want to put supportive boots on him to turn him out - any body out there with advise.
 
SMBs are supposed to be very good for suspensory injuries. HOWEVER they do heat up the tendons and *potentially* could cause more problems than they resolve if they weaken the tendon fibres and the horse hoonies about and damages a tendon.
If I were you I'd ask your vet's advice.

Sorry, just realised I really am paranoid about tendons after my mare's injury!
