As some of you know I've been looking for a little project, and here he is:
A 6 year old blank canvas coblet!

Already seems to be quiet a chilled out boy! Had a bath today as he was terribly dirty but how on earth do you get rid of the yellow feather and tail? Or is it a case of several baths?

He's lovely, very similar to mine.

Pig oil and sulphur for the feather (patch test first). They'll be yellower than ever initially, then should get white a few days later.

For the tail I have been known to use false teeth capsules (steradent or equivalent) or even Vanish in a bucket of warm water, soak the tail in the bucket for a while and then wash out well. Probably not something you'd want to do too often, but mine's never had any bad reaction to it.

Thanks laura!
Plan is to back, bring on and probably sell, hopefully as a happy hacker and generally all rounder. He seems laid back so fingers crossed he'll be the same ridden!
Initial plan is a diet though he has some belly on him!!

Cowboy Magic purple shampoo has a dramatic whitening affect on mine. You can make your own by adding blue food colouring to normal shampoo but I find it easier to just buy the ready made stuff.
