First off, I changed my name from Nah, to Chan. Nah stands for Ned, Annie, Holly but now I have Cookie, I have to add a C in there somewhere! (I also adore Jackie Chan :P)

Now that's been said, time to meet my new little chap that I've been teasing you with!!

Some of you with a good memory may remember him.
He's a naughty little 3yr old Shetland X stallion :D

My friend got him last year, along with another riding horse. She took Cookie as well because they'd been friends for so long, she just couldn't bare to part them. That and her riding horse needed company. Then, quite by coincidence, my friend needed to re-home Cookie and I needed a friend for Ned, so I jumped at the chance! I already knew him and so did Ned, so it was perfect :)

We boxed him over yesterday and after a few kicks and squeals, they seem to be getting on really well!

Hehe, he's so lovely and so funny!
He can be a little git, but he's very sweet really :)
I bought him his first bridle today, so that should be interesting...I'll let you know how I get on with that!

I would LOVE to break him to drive, if I can find someone who'll come out to me I just might! He's already pulled some hay down to his old field, that was too heavy for us :P he looked like a pro!

Oh, a Hersus lookalike ;) I hope you are going to post videos of their frolicking adventures :). Good luck in your new livery.

I was just thinking that they look alike. Mind you Cookie has more colour in his mane than Hersus. Do please make a video of them playing ;-) Just out of interest what did he cost in comparison to my little guy.
How old is ? Is he gelded ??

He's 3yrs old and a stallion :)
I got him for free (fun fact - I have never ever paid for a pet), but my friend paid £200, I think, may have been £150. He was just turning 2 when she got him.
And don't worry, plenty of pictures and videos to come :D

Hersus is 4 and a stallion I keep thinking I should geld him gelded. Shetlands are cheaper in the UK clearly ! I am looking forward to seeing them in action.

How sweet, Cookie is gorgeous! If you do break him to drive I demand lots of updates with pictures! You're photography is excellent. Hope Ned is content and happy with the new arrangements
