Everyone meet Kirico!

Have just got back from Spain after a VERY long search in the UK, then finally decided to head abroad for my dream horse, and this is who ive found

Hes a 15.3hh, 5 yo, PRE Andalusian stallion, still got a bit of growing and filling out to do, but then i seriously have some pounds to shift after xmas so we should both be about right by the time he comes over!

Hes being vetted on monday, then just got to wait til Gem sells and he'll be all mine. Hes such a sweetie to ride and handle, was literally the first horse i saw out there out of hundreds and just fell in love with him, am soooo excited

He is lovely, can i just ask what stud you got him from?

This is something i have debated going abroad for my perfect horse just not really sure how to go about it!

Thanks!

Fills the eye doesn't he?

I do like a compact horse.

What are your plans for him, will you keep him entire? Curious, that's all, I have a stallion myself so I am hardly going to leap aboard the 'Oh you'll have to get his 'nads chopped off asap" bandwagon without good reason.

Best of luck with him.

Thanks for all the replies everyone, he is a bit of a stunner, everyone at his stud loves him, hes one of those types nice to look at but also got a really nice personailty and loves people.
Am going to do mostly dressage and maybe a bit of showing with him, when he finally gets here will just spend the first few months having fun, getting to know each other and of course showing him off to everone at the yard!
Alibear, thanks ill be in touch with BAPSH for all the registering when he gets here, thought he may be a bit little to do the breed show though, but will certainly give it some thought. Are those PRE'S in your sig?
Nat, he came from Ovelar stud nr Madrid but i have pm'd you
Enfys, thanks i like compact and well rounded horses too, he'll be even chunkier next year as hes mostly Carthusian and they do mature quite late. The plan is to keep him entire, wouldnt even consider it with any other breed, but thats one of the things i love about them is their nature, the spainish just dont get the British attitude towards having everything gelded! That was also the reason i chose hm over a couple of other potentials, his temperment and manners really are superb, hacks out, schools and lives next to other stallions without batting an eyelid, also luurves having his withers scatched, pulls the funniest faces youve ever seen!
