meet my rescue mare

Please say hello to my beautiful little (not so little) lady who i got a week before christmas from the local RSPCA centre, I only went to view there horses, ponies and donkeys on a rehoming weekend and ended up falling in love with the rather large donkey esq ears lanky legs and adorable calming nature.
so to this day I am so glad i went along as i have my stunningly beautiful young lady now who has gone form a woolly lanky baby faced youngster to a stuning (if i do say so) young mare who has turned into the horse she is today.

she will be starting her education next month and am super excited by this, I have had a break from horses for the last 3 years so this is really exciting for me. i have allowed her to settle into her new yard routine before doing too much with her, but feel she is more than ready to begin.

i really think she is going to be my horse of a lifetime (big hooves to fill) but she has my heart already. she is only just turned 4 (past is unknown except why she was rescued) but standing at 16.1hh already i think she has yet to fill those large ears of hers haha.

looking at doing some dressage with her hopefully we will both enjoy this.
