Meet our new Lab puppy!

This is Doddi, she was seven weeks old yesterday. She will be a working lab, but also a pet (as are all of our dogs). She is exceptionally cute and lovely, and that's coming from someone who really prefers adult dogs to pups!

For those who helped with names, my husband came up with Doddi - it's the first part of the village name where we first met, on a blind date - who says men aren't romantic!

Gorgeous pup! She is a lovely rich colour, is she going to be fox red? I don't know much about labs but love this colour , although of course all the colours are good (frantically back pedalling having realised I am going to offend owners of other coloured labs

).

Don't expect she will quite be a fox, but she is pretty dark, so fingers crossed she stays that way! She's very chilled, stands and watches whilst the geese (on the other side of the fence!) hiss at her, and I've picked her up and let all the horses sniff her and she doesn't care, just holds her face up to them!

She is adorable! Our black lab is 19 weeks now and seems huge compared to when we bought him home - they grow up so fast

Happy Horse - she was playing with a friends 13 week old black lab last night, he was huge in comparison!

I've got a yellow lab ATM and 2 black and white springers, Jake and Ellie ... Ellie is approaching 9 so will be looking to reitre her back to part-time at the end of this season. Early next year will be puppy time ...

or maybe i'll just get one of each

he's my puppy!! altho i'm currently fighting my OH for him too!! He seems to think he's a 'mans dog' ...never heard so much codswollop in me life!!

Kensa always pulls silly faces at my dad and Ellie, my other spangle smiles if you ask her. If she's sat in the car or on the gaitor and i shout *WAVE ELLIE WAVE* in the most cakey voice imaginable she will actually wave her leg at you .. i'll try get some pics lol

I would love to get a 'true' fox red ab though yours is a lovely deep yellow. There all to cute at that age regardless of colour!!
