We've been think of getting a new puppy to keep our gsp company when our boxer passes and havent known when is the right time. But as our boxers hips are getting worse we started looking for puppies.

We found a little working cocker.

We picked his name months ago just waiting for the right dog to come along. We had a great pick of the litre. Now got a long six weeks wait till he can come home.

Will post lots of pics when home but here is two from yesterday.

First time owning a cocker any advice as had boxers, pointer, clumber spaniel, springer spaniel, golden retriever.

He's gorgeous :-)
I have a working cocker, if your springer was from working lines I'd expect similar type of dog. My girl is lively, never stops, very loving, intelligent but has to know u mean it so firm voice on recall etc and she can still widdle on the floor if she's really excited! (Not a proper wee but a can't contain myself widdle!) she was also quite the escape artist when younger :-)
All the best with your wait, I'm currently on a list for a litter due in June, so I'll be waiting until August for number 2!
