Maesfen
Extremely Old Nag!
As posted last night, Sasha arrived here yesterday.
I bought her, unseen (again, must need my head looking at!) from an ad on Horsequest just so I could use my free return to Aimbrey Chester which has already cost me far more than the stud fee is worth but it has become a matter of principle that I used it! She has already been graded with Sports Pony SS and would have had far higher marks if her actual breeding was known; she's also already had two by Chester, one, Miss Moneypenny is on Chester's Progeny page and has also been passed by SPSS; the other, a colt was sold before weaning so it's not as if she is unproven in any way. I have to admit, she was bargain basement and for an extra £25, the lovely owners not only took her to End House for me, they also threw in a headcollar and a Weatherbeeta LW so I don't think I can say I was hard done by!:g: They want to keep in touch too which is nice.
Anyway, by daylight I keep having to pinch myself! Reminds me a bit of a mini Bea, I'd love to know her breeding though; does anyone know if there is a way/database that can check DNA with any breed that is assessable to Joe Public and not just societies?
Sorry, there are a few and she's settled quite well with the boys, thank goodness; will be interesting to see if she starts reprimanding them, I hope so, they could probably need an elder horsey figure to respect!
