hi all,

Here is our new filly born on Saturday morning at 4am!! i'm really chuffed with her, she's a cheeky little monkey but very cute!!!! She is a little windswept across the hips but hopefully she will straighten out in time and has actually straightened out a lot since saturday. Have any of you had any experience of this?? what was the outcome?

These pics were taken on Saturday afternoon - sorry they arn't very good - i'm no photographer!!

Any name suggestions would be great...we are getting a bit stuck...mum is called Arctic Kiss and sire is bandmaster - suggested registered names and stable names welcome!!

For those of you who remember my post about the other mare...she's not in foal it was a phantom but is besotted with this little one!!!!

Lovely filly, bet you are pleased.

On the names front you have things like conductor artiste arrangement musical director orchestral ensemble jazz rock etc from the sire
and mum cold ice snow northern and affection, respect, greeting, farewell, good luck.

If you wanted a combination you could go with things like
Ensemble on ice
Artic ensemble
Northern Arrangement
Jazzy Kisses
Dancing on thin Ice or
Dancing on ice etc etc!!!!

ahhh! fantastic suggestions everyone...these are great...!!!! some people are great at this sort of stuff!! i have zero inspiration usually!!!

LOVING both Coldplay and Arctic Monkey!

Lovely filly! Nice big genuine ears - just like my mare and filly.

Beautiful girl!! My foal was windswept, and down on his hind pasterns too, but it all sorted itself out with restricted exercise for the first couple of weeks

On another point, it's unusual to see a bay foal born bay - they've usually got fawny coloured legs! Couldn't help noticing as it's being discussed on another topic at the moment.
