So my new boy arrived today and I thought I'd introduce him to you all.
He's a Reg. Welsh D colt, dark bay with a gorgeous wonky blaze. He'll be one at the end of May. His registered name is Rotherdale Druid. He's out of Rotherdale Xsara and by Cathedine Flying Express. He had a long lorry journey down today but he stepped out of the lorry very chilled, I think that's all down to our fabulous transporter who was amazing. He's currently settled in his new, big field that has lots of grass with his new friend. He seems to be very chilled, which is good.
I don't know much about his back story, his passport has no record of any other owners apart from the stud he came from but I got him from a lovely lady who bought him from the sales, can't remember exactly which sales it was. He is quite nervous when you touch him and quite poor looking but he was like that when the lady before bought him, he's slowly starting to look better though. He also hasn't had much handling but that's something we'll be working on with him.
Here's a couple of pictures. These were taken a few weeks ago when he was with the lady I bought him off.
Oh and if anyone has any ideas for some stable names for him, please feel free to let me know.
