I have sent my hubby out to take foalie pics today as hadn't got any of this boy, look what he came home with.......

He's a Spanish Norman (Percheron X Andalusian), this is where it gets interesting.....his dad is the stallion in the first pic of my sig, the sec n third pics are his half bro n sis all out of same mare. the fouth pic is mum n sis as a foal. xxx

hey, im new to all this. i dont really no much about foals. or mares in foal. but i have got a 7 year old shire cross cob mare, and she got cought with a colt in january time.. i didnt really want this to happen

its going to be an early foal like december time and i dont really no what to do!!!! do i let her have it outside in a enclosure in the field??? or do they have them inside??? couldu wb please if you could help.
 
Ahh Hannah, don't worry I'm sure she will be fine. Given the time of year i would say you mare will be better foaling in doors. You will need a good sized stable though, do you have anyone close to you with foaling experiance??

If not talk to you vet's they are there to help, you can also get lots of info on line to.
