...Will be French and Eric Vigeanel's ride, stable name Coco and 18 years old, a character, utterly bored at home for schooling. Lives out all year (with 3 rugs on in winter) and only perks up when has the traveling boots put on.

Belongs to Eric's GF who's had him since he was 4. Has a great track record and experience but Eric is keeping number of comps a year to the strict minimum these last couple of years. Coco has done so well that he made the team. He and Eric are said to have a very strong bond.

A pair to watch and tbh my boy being 18, a former eventer and so full of beans, I have a soft spot for golden oldies..!

His rider is one of the most discreet - yet very talented and most deserving- event riders in France. The selectors are banking on their bond and experience together.
Their selection was held up until the last possible moment as Eric said that he would go only if he felt that his ride was 100% in top form for it. But his performance was such during the pre-departure prep/training camp that it was a go !
