I now have my bottle for my horse whos mane is falling out through rugs and sweet itch. How do I apply it? As i do not hink it will last long on her whole mane and tail?
With Cairo as a bald coot, I rubbed it in neat to the roots at least every other day. Once he started to sprout I did the roots and then added a little extra to rub in the rest of the hair and left it.
He now has a mane - after years of nothing and I mix it 50 - 50 with water and rub in and comb through two to or three times a week.
I do the same with Chancer twice a week on the top of his tail and mane to keep it is perfect strong condition.
Great stuff as is the survivor detangler - best I have found - wonderful shine and the smell is so yummy.
You can also use these products on your own hair. It is the same as human version - was developed originally for people suffering from chemo and hair loss - which is what Cairo had.
So I should use it neat until the hair grows back then? The girl selling it was on about mixing with water and spraying on but I had bad reception so could not really hear her
You can also use it neat or mixed with water. I did start Cairo using neat as he was completely bald to get the best effect. Once he had some hair growth, then I reverted to 50 - 50.
50 - 50 lasts longer and is easier to apply to the hair - you can also use it in a spray, neat you cannot, so for me I can spray Chancer's mane, tail and feather - much easier than doing it by hand.
If you do put it on my hand, there is a side effect - you get lovely strong nails
It is one of my fav products - I use their detangler, shampoo and rebuilder, tailbags and developed the mane bags with them.

so thats why my nails havent been breaking reacently!
Any way with my sweetitch pony, its going on his tail neet and on his mane 50/50 with water! His tail is bald though and his mane just needs strengthening to last if he starts scratching it!!
I found to apply it neat until the hair starts to grow back, just a little bit, not cover it in the stuff. Then i mixed it 50:50 with water and it did the trick!
