megazorb ? aquamax ?

Megazorb is fab, I don't use it now as wood pellets are so much cheaper. It is the most absorbent bedding I have ever used, can't say enough good about it. If I was rich I would never look at anything else! You don't need to wet it.

Aquamax is similar to wood pellets, I think but I've never used it.

Ditto. Megasorb is brilliant.
 
Sorry OP if I'm hikacking. I'm thinking of changing to Megazorb from shavings, how is it best used? Do you deep litter, semi deep litter or muck out properly every day?

I think Megazorb is great and amazingly absorbant in the stable - but gets everywhere, it seems to stick to boots and clothes

I have used it mixed with shavings/aubiouse etc and find it easier to manage.
 
I love Megazorb, and either semi-deep litter or deep liter it, it's very economical, the most absorbant bedding around and doesn't stick to everything like shavings.
I've also successfully used it as a base under shavings.
 
Megazorb is fantastic, used in the past andonly stopped because the local supplier kept running out and I kept having to go back to shavings.

Used Aquamax in the past and wasn't that impressed, it was about £6 a bag 4 years ago so I hate to imagine what it would be now.
 
Aquamax is wood pelletes and is fantastic - even better news Liverpool Wood Pellets and other companies sell the same product at half the price (around £3 a bag). Highly absorbent and no smell (you can't believe it). Yes they do need wetting when you out the initial bed down so the pellets turn into a more like fluffy crumb, but on addind new bags to bedding i don't add any further water as you mix the wet (urinated) areas in with the dry. Much easier to muck out and works out so much cheaper. Takes a bit of getting used to how to work it (hence some people don't seem to get to grips with it), but once you do it's fab. All mine have that down on top of rubber matting. Would never go back to shavings again now.
