My new boy is incredibly wet and was disgusting on normal nonbrand shaving or easibed. There would be pools of wet under the easibed.

I decided to try megazorb almost 2 weeks ago. I really like how absorbent it is and there isnt much odour but I am not how to manage it.

I started my bed off on rubber matting with 5 bales and have put 2 more down since. After about a week the middle where he mainly wees became very squelchy so I had to remove quite a lot. It gets squelchy after a few days really and to keep it dry I can see myself having to add 2-3bales a week!

Am I managing it wrong? I semi deep litter so hope to take out droppings during week and dig out wet at weekends.

I used it a few years ago when it first came out so it was largely trial and error. I ended up deep littering and only taking the wet out occasionally, the beds ended up probably 8 inches thick and stayed in place brilliantly, if the beds were too thin they did get quite wet. I didn't have rubber mats though. I loved this bedding and would use it all the time but I can't afford to now :(. I'd probably put a few more bags on top, disturb the base as little as possible and see how it goes over the next few weeks. My guess is you'll have no problem once the bed gets deeper.

I used it with rubber matting so only had a small layer of it down. I loved it for absorbancy and odour reduction but couldnt afford to keep using it which is a shame. Have you tried wood pellets? much cheaper and good for absorbancy also
