how do you muck it out is it best deep littered or a full muck out every day ?
does it stay clean or fluffy looking? and do the horses stain their coats less
thanks

I am mixing mine with shavings, wet taken out weekly. I have already cut down on the number of shavings that I have to use and the bed seems less dusty and more 'stable'. It stays nice and white as there are a lot of shavings in there too.

We use megazorb for the entire yard (8 of them, including some VERY messy boys!) and do full muck outs every day. We use about a bag a week. and it only takes about 40 minutes to muck out everybody. Fab stuff and minimal waste on the muck heap!

MinE stays relatively clean and fluffy looking, does go a little darker in colour, and forms a compact base that does not move but still looks clean.

Also remove droppings daily and wet when I see it, replacing the hole where the wet has been removed with fresh bedding.

so is it best to let it compact or o a full muck out every day
which would use less bedding?
my big lad when on shavings is very wet and drags his bed about and always has lots of stable stains which need ashing every day ( coloured cob )
have bought some magazorb but not quite sure how to manage it

imo certaily to let it compact.

It takes a couple of weeks to do so, and was far harder to muck out until it did, as my chap mixes his droppings in with any loose, now it is compact they mainly stay separate on top.

Ususally remove wet about twice a week.
