megazorb!!!

I have recently changed my horse's bedding to megazorb, which is amazing!
Anyone who has a messy, wet nosey horse who walks around go and buy some!
I've been on shavings and woodchips of every sort and i've finally found nice bedding.

Not so amazing when you get used to it the main problem is the bags are so small it is absorbant but not so much more that the size is like for like in absorbancy.

Also as it ages it goes a horrible grey colour, it sticks to the droppings so if your horse walks its poohs in the bed like mine does separating them is near impossible.

I used it most of last winter, had bought a pallet that was meant to last all winter, was not the case, tried normal mucking out then deep littering but still got through 2-3 bags a week per horse. If it was better value for money I would consider using it again however as it is no chance!

I agree Llanerch, I used it on rubber floors and it became prohibitively expensive

haha I clearly seem the only one loving it. On my mats I don't seem to get through to much was spending £18 a week on easibed! I use 1 megazorb a week so it does work out cheaper I just love how easy it is to muck out. I bank my bed up any loose poo falls to the bottom.

now that is the only way to separate it from the pooh in my case though not so succesfully

Rape straw for me, was using Bliss but they started to put wheat straw in it and the horses ate it, I now use Unibed Premium
