had brilliant weekend last week, got to go home from hospital & see & ride my horse on both days but it rained which wasnt ideal.

this weekend apparently im not well enough to go home so no horse no riding & to top it off, its sunny this week!

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

just got to hope for next week then

P.S. just to add the horse is being cared for & ridden by some very nice, helpful friends, he's not been abandoned whilst im here!

Oh no! What are you in hospital for? Its a relatively new horse isn't it?

yes but its a much longer term illness so knew i was likely to end up back in hospital for more treatment but this should be the last time, hopefully. thats one of the reasons i bought him, i needed something more positive in my life than just being in hospital all the time, something to work towards getting better for. he is very good though & doesnt get fizzy if i cant ride for a bit & i have very good friends who keep him well cared for when im not there. i do miss him though. aim for next weekend though now!

If it's any consolation, yes it has been sunny, but the combination of heavy frost and low sun has made riding not possible at all for many of us anyway...

You conserve your strength and get well for when the gorgeous Spring riding happens!

PS Horses should be available on the NHS - write to your MP!
