After a mild colic last week (first colic ever), my vet did a rectal examination on my boy and noticed small pea sized melanomas on his anus.
He said that it is recommended that melanomas are lasered off as soon as possible to prevent further issues. My boy is grey.
I would like to hear from anyone who has has this done to their horse and what the outcome was. Any pros/cons... ??
I am very protective of my boy and the thought of him having a sore bottom for months worries me greatly.
