Sending you a huge hug. You couldnt have done better by him. I would have done exactly the same. Hope that writing this down has helped you to work through it a bit more in your head. It def takes time to process something as traumatic as this xx
Deano was a lucky horse to have you. Not knowing the side effects, I think we all would have done the same.
The vets at Weipers sound like lovely, compassionate people.
I don't read anything that suggests you let him down at any time.

Thank you for sharing, but never feel you did the ‘wrong’ thing! It’s always easier to look back and think I could have done xyz (been there recently with my first horse), he was loved and cared for until the end x
