melanomas

I noticed a small lump on the right side of harmonys neck, I got my YM to look at it and she ran her finger over it and the top came off to reveal pink skin, She said it could either be a melanoma (sp?) or a sarcoid which harmony has already had. She also appears to have melanomas(sp?) under her tail which according to research is a melanoma which is very common in most greys.
What does it sound like to you guys?

I'm no expert but if the head came off I'd doubt it's a melanoma. My girl, who is also grey has got one under her tail

one of my grans mares has melanoma and has done for years now im not sure as i dont know much about her but i wouldnt have thought its a melanoma if the top came off though i could be wrong. sorry that probs wasnt much help

hi, my horse has 2 sarcoids, sometimes the top of them come off, but is a melanoma not just a form of sarcoid anyway? dont know. but i heard the camrosa is a really good way to treat 'fleshy growths', whatever they are. its ony like £15 for a tub, u can get it online on the camrosa website, i dont have it but im sure u can google it.
