And a cracking run from the second as well and lovely to see good old Vauban in sixth
My horse was nominated for the Melbourne cup back many years ago which is the initial stage of entry. He didn’t go and I’m sure he was quite happy to stay in England but I still think it’s quite cool

That would've been exciting Humble but yes, its a long way to go! I would obviously have loved the second to hold on. Its a difficult race to win.

Would have loved to see Willie win after his success in the Breeders but it was going to be a bit of an ask
