Firstly, please dont read any further or bother commenting if you have nothing positive to say.

Have to be honest, I had all but given up on ever finding him, until I got a reply to one of the posts I put on FB.

He was sold to the meat man - but, thankfully, before he got near a slaughter house someone bought him. He has since been sold again but into a very good and private home.

He is happy and safe and is no longer for sale, at any price!! so I think we can safely say hes fallen on his feet :)

A happy ending for the little man, which was exactly what I hoped he would find.

The lady who contacted me has said she will stay in touch and let us know how he gets on.

Thank you for all the kind, positive and supportive comments and ideas.

This really is my last post on the matter I promise, I just thought I owed it to all who had followed the story soo closely to give you the final installment

xx

Made my day, been following your posts and very glad the little guy has been found and will get his happily ever after, even if not with your friend, which would have been a lovely ending but hey ho at least he is safe and well :D

Have fololwed this thread with interest, so glad he's safe and well and thanks for letting us know, the power of the internet is incredible. I recently traced my old horse through HHO which was a great relief and I now get updates as to his progress from his lovely new owner which is such a joy.

Lucky lad :), glad he had a good outcome.
Amazed you managed to find him tbh, it was all looking a little fruitless .... good on you :).

Was this the little coloured boy? What a brilliant story, well done for your perserverance.

Maybe you should set up a detective agency for stolen or missing horses? I had the most awful nightmare last night that I lost my horse - there's def a market for specialist knowledge...

I was just thinking the same! I have not followed the story but it does seem you have done very well indeed to catch up with him.

Having had a dog go missing whilst walking him and never having any news of him since, plus having a morbid interest in Doglost nowadays, I think you could have a good sideline in tracing missing animals ;)

Fab news. Well done for finding out what happened to him. He must be a special lad to have touched those who met him. Hoping he has a long and happy life.

OP, I admire you for not giving up and trying so hard to find him :)

Thank you for the update as I have been wondering what happened to him.

I hope that he lives a happy and contented life with his new owners.

Am so pleased for him! Not often you hear of a happy ending in these cases but well done for persisting in tracking him down - think this little chap has had a couple of guardian angels on his side!
