Mine is a pet name I used to use for my... er... pets! I think it started as cutie pie, then changed to chicken pie
then, if I remember rightly, I saw a foreign cafe selling chicken burgers called Chicken in a Bun and it kinda stuck as my pet name for just about anything!
- I have a seperate one from work. The email address originally came about when email was really only hotmail and my friends and I were coming up with email addresses over a glass or two.......
i have a yumyum everyday for my lunch at work but it has to be one of those ones with the thick white icing mmmmmmmm not a butterscotch 1 its a bit of a joke at my work now lol x
We used to have a shettie...called Poppy....who was skewbald and OH used to say she looked like a moo-cow......so she got called Poppy-the-moo.....hence...Poppymoo.
I loved the word 'booboo' when I first heard it (not the kind of thing they teach you at english class at school) and then it was Greekified with the 's' to become a pet's nickname. All my pets and OH are called "Booboos mou" (my booboos).
Mine is my horse's showname which I made up. He is called Luca, which is similar to Lucky and I consider myself lucky to have him (basically ended up with him as he was a nutter and no one else wanted him, but he is fab now so their loss!), also he is skewbald so it's like he's been painted, plus I'm an artist so it all goes together!
Bumblelion was my favourite character in the Disney programme the wuzzles, not many people can remember it! Was broadcast in the early 80's. I loved my toy bumblelion and took him everywhere, figured too old now so iv just stolen his name instead! He was half a bumble bee and half lion!
Used to be AliBear which was a combo of my name and my nickname at the time, then changed to Polar_Bear for Xmas one year and it suck.
Polar Bear is my favourite character from J.R Tolkeins Christmas letters, and he's just about as clumsy and useless as me
When I registered, I did have a chestnut cob! Don't anymore but have never bothered changing my name. I didn't think "big bay ISH type" had quite the same ring to it
the first email addy i ever had was kerilli, as it was the closest to my real names "kerry lee" as i could get that wasn't taken, and it's stuck, it's easiest to use this for everything online!
Mine is in memory of the Clydie I had pts a few months before I joined. She was called Pearl, which we called her because we really couldn't call her the name she was sold to us with, and we bought her from someone who owned a group of nightclubs in South Yorks. It is from the Elkie Brooks song 'Pearl's a singer'....in a nightclub. EB comes from South Yorks. The horse was black/blue roan so Pearl suited her and sister and I thought the name was hilarious, needless to say there's a lot more to the story than I can put on here.
When I joined I was just going to be Pearl but that had already gone.

Me too!
All my life I'd wanted a Saint Bernard. I was going to breed and the first litter (they can have up to twenty-three!) were going to be named after composers
. My girl was named after my favourite composer, Mozart, but at eleven and a half stone she was fairly big and everyone referred to her as a male (though she was very pretty!), so I renamed her Mrs Mozart. She was big and kind and soft and loving and as daft as a brush. Daughters would rest their heads on her on the floor and she loved them and everyone and everything.
We managed one set of pups, but they didn't survive full term. Desperately sad times and I didn't risk it again.
I lost Moz to bloat in January this year, she's buried in the garden with her pups.
I'll always be MrsMozart in her memory and in her honour.
Mine is quite simple - it's part of my horses name (too long to use the whole thing) and because it had already been taken I added the year she was born
