If you notice an unsusual hazard, such that you decide to phone & warn friend who is planning to go that way shortly: try & remember it's there on the way back & although your horse pootled past with no problem one way it may be a completely different story on the way back. Especially if it's among trees. Also that branches hurt when they smack you in the face.
 
Sorry this did make me laugh. One of the many strange things about horses...... mine walked past a new rather large rock in the front of someones garden, but on the way back well it suddenly turned into a sabre tooth horse eating rock and Ebony had a complete breakdown over it (bless) and even now a few weeks on she will give it the evil eye walk past and just as it reaches her bum will jump forward. Thats why we love them so much !! :)
