Memory Lane - Howarth Lodge, Rotherham...

I had some lessons there in 1999. I went because I'd got into bad habits with my old horse which my new youngster soon exploited! Emma soon had me sorted out. Really enjoyed my lessons used to go down in my lunch hour and smell of horses all afternoon....rode a nice piebald cob. Think Emma went off to Bishop Burton to do her qualifications.

Yes Emma was excellent teacher. Think the piebald was Domino....???
My sister bought a cob from there about 7ish years ago - called Bess, black mare about 14.3 with white stripe down face. Lovely nature and we sold her on to an older lady wanting to plod around the lanes, she is still on our yard and totally loved and pampered, she's about 17 now.

I think he arrived just before I left!

Used to ride a mare called Bess there years ago but she was a big bay mare and it was about 12 years ago :)
