Hi all my brother has decided to learn to ride my mare whilst I'm off with bad back. He rode many years ago but today he rode for the first time and refused to sit up as his ' baby making tackle' was getting squished ahem!. Tips welcome please and in all seriousness !!

Come on don't be shy folks! It's a real dilemma. Is it just that he will get used to it?! Or is there some secret equipment ?!!

I just make sure I wear good fitting (tightish) boxers underneath good fitting jodpurs and make sure evrything is where it should be - if you know what I mean. I don't have too many problems.

He says!!!! He just needs to get comfy like riding a bike, could be the saddle, front too high and decent scants!!! ones which support:p:p:p

Tighty whities (other colours are available) are a must. Anything flopping around will eventually get trapped and squashed. Dressing either left or right is also desirable, direction is not important and no need to change diagonal on change of rein :p

Have posted in NL, my OH goes for the tight supportive pants route. Equitech do riding ones which are better than standard briefs. Also prefers jodhs rather than anything looser as it helps keep things in their place.
