Hi we are currently putting in a 30/40 m menage at our house and I want to install floodlights. SCL direct have a solution for a 40/20 menage consisting of 4, 10 m high poles with twin 400 watt metal halide lights which looks great and when I spoke to them about 5 weeks ago they said they would get back to me with a solution and price for our slightly larger menage. Unfortunately I haven't heard back from them despite several calls so f any of you have installed flood lights at a simillar sized menage could you let me know what you did and where you got and if you don't mind how much it cost.

Many thanks

Andrew

Sorry can't help as was refused planning permission for the floodlights. Did you get it?

Had to put Halogen spotlights on existing buildings which I was allowed to do despite it being more invasive than floodlights around school!

Sorry can't help although i ride in a 40x 25 that only has 2 spots as that's all they were allowed, do have light on barns which cast a bit more glow on the side with none. It works ok, so i imagine with 4 that would be plenty.

I haven't gne down the planning route. Might be taking a chance but I can always go for it retrospectively if I have to. I am down a private lane and you won't see them from the road I hope

You've built a large manege and are putting in floodlights without PP?

Good luck! You are a braver man than I (but then I'm not a man ) ;)

Oh dear- hope you have got planning for menage at least? If not that's a very silly thing- its when they fly over for survey you will be spotted. You can prob shop the flood lights as long as no houses nearby.
