My partner has recently started riding and is always at the farm with me in his doc martens, slowly ruining them ? So I would like him to get some country boots that are waterproof, hard wearing, that he can ride and do yard work in (bonus being if he gets some, I get new ones too ?). I like cabotswood myself, they're the only boot to survive me for more than 6 months, but they don't go big enough for him. Recommendations for something in a similar price range (up to £150), that are hard wearing, waterproof and have a sole for riding please.

I raid the PPE cupboard at work and 'borrow' workman boots. They last longer than any 'horsey/ country' boot i have ever invested in. If its good enough for a builders site with day in, day out use in all weathers then its good enough for the yard :)
