As OH is taking more of an interest in learning to ride I thought I would buy him some breeches but has anybody got any recommendations? I am certain he would not want anything tight and he isn't the smart and sophisticated sort - something that look like his worn out normal trousers (usually wears battered old jeans) that are stretchier than the old cords he has been riding in would be great.

Neddies off Ebay are very highly recommended by my OH, would err on the big side as they are cotton and shrink 1" on waist when washed!

They are about £25 so a bargain!

My OH has to buy ladies

cos he's too skiny for mens - needs a 26 or 28 and mens all start at 30!

He loves his pikeurs though and the derby house copies

nothing fits tight on him though

Where can you find these? This thread has come just in time! My friend needs some 'manly' jods for her OH... and we cannot find any ANYWHERE!!!

My husband tried literally 100s of pairs (well, seemed like it to me!)
Anyway, only ones he liked were MH ones in the end as they weren't 'fitted'. He's not a skinny guy though - used to do quite high level kick boxing so still got well developed muscles on his legs and most were too skin-tight on the legs and looked horrid!! He loves all the MH stuff though - boots, coat....

My Eurostar Nevadas are fantastic, but I cannot find any more like them anywhere...

My show breeches are Mark Todd which are alright.

After the Eurostars, the next best were full seat breeches from ALDI at £20 each!
