As title - does anyone have recommendations for a comfortable, thick soled welly (or similar long waterproof boot) for dog walking in tough muddy conditions? OH has very high insteps and clearly very delicate feet as he seems to get blisters easily. He keeps buying cheap wellies (and keeps getting blisters) so I thought I'd get him some nice ones for Christmas. Thought about Ariats as I don't think you can beat them for comfort, but the wellies don't seem to have brilliant reviews.

PS Well done me for catching the autocorrect every time!

My OH requested Le Chameau wellies for Xmas, leather lined with a zip ? he will be wearing them for the next 20 years ☺
I like Aigle because They are not heavy, but maybe not the best for walking.

Look for something with a Vibram sole

My Grubbs lasted a year! I now stick to hiking boots from Go Outdoors and they are just easy, comfortable and versatile. I wear them for dog walking, in the garden and at the yard.
